Oreca was established in 1953,  trading in industrial hand tools and garage equipment.

By offering customers reliable service and by successfully adapting to the changing demands of the marketplace Oreca has built up a large and important customer base, to which it owes many thanks.

Within a few years Oreca had become the exclusive distributor for a number of major European brands, dealing in more and more product lines and soon had to look for larger premises.

In 1964 Oreca moved to the current site at Albizzate (VA). This site was subsequently extended several times but was soon too small and so Oreca opened a new and moder second site at Jerago, not far from their main office. This new site became the warehouse for finished goods, equipped with a fully automated system of order processing, guaranteeing Oreca's customers a quick and accurate delivery service.

The end of the 70's saw the arrival of DIY stores in Italy, and their new approach to selling. Oreca kept pace with this new trend, working together with the most important stores, growing with them and responding quickly to changes in the market place. As a result, Oreca became specialists in point of sale material for hand tools and hardware, in particular DIY products - a new and developing sector in the Italian market.

Oreca has recently renewed its look as well as changed its name into and today, it can define itself a service company.

Over the years, Oreca has grown in renown and in size, by correctly interpreting the demands of the market and by continually improving its stock offer, which has now reached about 20.000 product lines. These product lines are divided by outlet and end user to form the present product offer.
